I just have nothing new to say, I'm watching movies and I just...don't want to talk about them. I'm still following some blogs and will probably continue to comment every now and then. I'm going to concentrate on my zines, my job and my schoolwork. Sorry. Obviously you can still contact me at "zacerynova@hotmail.com" whenever you want, but I'm trying to distance myself from the internet at the moment (I've deleted most online profiles and my ties to forums, etc) so will only be checking my email once a day. Thanks to all of you for being so kind to me these past few months, I've appreciated it. Unfortunately, I've stopped publishing the newsletter and this blog will soon slip into obscurity.

Yup, once you pop you just can't stop; I've made yet another "xeen", it's called Pop Ate My Bleeding Heart; it's more of a personal zine than anything but it does feature some articles to do with horror movies. It's 5 A4 pages printed on three sheets, if it had a contents it would probably look like this:

1. I can't speak to other people.
2. Crushes.
3. Obsession - an idea I stole from this blog.
4. Discussion on the term "cool deaths" - is death ever cool?
5. The worst things about moving countries.
6. Standard definitions VS high definition
7. I hate going on vacation.
8. My opinion on remakes.
9. My Grandmother's funny school story.
10. The one time I dated a girl (blech!)
11. Attention.
12. Podcasting.
13. Epilogue/ Things I Am Looking For.

As per usual, I'll trade for anything: postcards, nice letters, stickers, leaflets, posters, xeens/zines, newsletters, pretty stationary - anything.

I still have: Why Do I Like Stupid Horror Movies? #3 and Cluttered Mind, of course.

Just thought you might be interested in what I'm getting from my parents for my birthday, I'm not bragging or anything but the horror things I'm getting might be of interest...

I have asked for (and will probably get): 2001 Maniacs, a pre-order of The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, House on Haunted Hill (remake), Veronica Mars: Complete Third Series, Tooth and Nail (from the After Dark Horrorfest), Turistas, Return to Sleepaway Camp, Gutterballs, Friday the 13th: The Killer Cut, Saw IV and a pre-order of The Children (UK horror).

I've also put these on my "list": the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Century, The Authority: World's End, The Ultimates: Who Killed Scarlet Witch and the books I am missing from the Series of Unfortunate Events.

As well as a DVD player for the TV my parents' friends donated to me.

I might get some movie posters too, I'm so excited. On my birthday we're having cheesecake and cookies; I'll probably watch some movies and read my books - we might even go look at some trailers (one of which I might get bought for my 18th, as preferred to a car).

Although I'm not "doing" Christmas this year (no songs, no presents, no cards, no well-wishes, no cake, no ridiculously extravagant meals), my Mother has told me that today is "my year" which in our family means that I get to choose all the decorations. Last year we had "teddy Christmas" as per my sister's request and this year I told my Mum I wanted a "Black Christmas" which means: a black Christmas tree and all manner of creepy decorations in dark colors. My sister flipped but my Mum thought it was a lovely idea (and by that, she means: "Zac's getting involved in something creative, encourage it at all costs"). The thing is, I never thought she'd go for it and now I've gotta actually do something, the whole point of this post is to beg for help, any ideas? Keywords include: Christmas, horror, creepy.

Oh, and bonus points if anyone can tell me what movie the image for this post is from.

Did Someone Say "Podcast"?

I am working on doing some form of podcast...and when I say "working on", I mean it. I have an internal mic at the moment but I'm "working on" getting an external mic; I have a stilted, awkward voice at the moment but I'm "working on" being more relaxed. Listening back to your own voice though makes you realize how terrible you sound! I think I'm going to put the audio online using...damn, I can't remember the hosting service. Using "a hosting service", there you go. The podcast will have the same name as this blog, I think...I haven't exactly got any ideas yet, but I'm "working on" it.

If you have suggestions (yes, I know, "get a co-host", unless Lauren wants to come do it - which I am totally for - then you'd better be prepared to fly here before you get smart!) or ideas, feel free to shove 'em in the comments below. I love reading your comments!

I had a panic attack today, and I left school. I've never had a panic attack before, and it was stressful, to say the least. I'm not going back, my parents have decided (in conjunction with myself) that for now I'm going to d2l (online high school) whilst working a day job (which has already been sorted out for me), we're looking into the training too. This "episode" was terrible, I felt like I was going insane - I was only there two-and-a-half days! I'm getting my hair-cut this weekend too, I want it short again; the long hair is too complicated to manage. Also, I'm looking forward to my birthday (FAUX "RANDOM" MENTION!!!!!) which is in 28 days, I cannot wait; my parents have promised me a DVD player for the second-hand TV that their friend gave me, as well as some DVDs, maybe a poster, some books - it's going to be great!

Sorry about these overtly personal/whiny posts, but I have to vent somewhere/ communicate with someone.

That's how long it took for High School to mentally break me, I just want to curl up into a fetal position and cry. I just walk about from class to class, contributing...sort-of. I'm either a vague curiosity (English, Science) or an outright hindrance (Food Studies, Religion), nobody is particularly mean to me, but nobody's nice either. Even people in "Tech Theatre", something I would usually excel in, thought I was odd, at best; and when Theatre kids think you're weird, you know there's something wrong. I spoke to my parents and we're thinking of waiting one week and then putting me back on the internet-high-school or putting me on some kind of course (without a diploma) that would lead into job opportunities in childcare/care for the disabled (something that interests me). I just don't think I'm cut out for High School.

To give you an idea of my general mood, I've been listening to this song over and over, like Veronica Mars did with the Virgin Suicides soundtrack (did anybody see that episode? Has anyone seen "The Virgin Suicides", it's good movie.):

I'm not sure if I'm just seeing these 'cause of googleads or if they're anywhere else on the 'net BUT if you go to the RottenTomatoes page for The Final Destination (here: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/final_destination_final_death_trip_3D/) then you will see that "subtly" there are some ads for "H2" all over, but it's not that they're ads which is amazing. It's the type of ad they are, they're innovative and amusing, which I appreciate.
